Last Wednesday we almost lost the preschool that our two daughters go to. The preschool was subletting from a private elementary school that apparently wasn't doing all that great....

We're off to San Diego for a week, so don't expect any updates (not that there have been a lot of those recently, anyway...). Although if I feel like it, I might post a photo from the beach or from SeaWorld via my mobile phone. :) This will be our first long road trip with the kids (4 and 2 years old), so wish me luck....

I've been playing a little with CafePress. I have to say it's a pretty cool concept, and very powerful. My daughter Julianna is drawing the cutest pictures these days, and I thought I'd use that opportunity to put my scanner to good use and upload some of those pictures to CafePress. My wife and kids (one almost 3, the other 11 months old) recently returned from an extended Germany vacation, after which I discovered that it is much more exhausting to have children that suffer from jetlag than to suffer from jetlag myself. For the first couple of days, 2 AM to 4 AM suddenly became play time, dinner time, potty time, etc....
