RubyForge now supports Subversion as an alternative to CVS. If you are looking for a host for an open source project, RubyForge is a great choice (and almost the de-facto standard for Ruby projects), and Subversion support makes this even better. Nice!

Once more, Gmail released a bunch of new features. I am particularly excited about the new Gmail Shortcuts. These show up on the right hand side of the page, right above the sponsored links, when Gmail was able to parse a mailing address or a tracking number from the email....

The Typo Theme Contest ended on 11/28, and the final results were posted two days ago. I didn't win anything, but my humble contribution "opyT" admittedly pales in light of the many awesome themes that were submitted by others. Most importantly, over 120 Typo themes resulted from this competition!...

Here's an absolutely hilarious story on how someone stopped a file sharer in a hotel from hogging all the bandwidth. If this really happened, it is one of the best pranks ever. :)
